What is Build your Rocket?
It is a one-input height game from Clap Clap Games. You set up a rocket that has to lift off the ground, then you control the burn while it flies. Power gets you off the launchpad, fuel decides how long the engine keeps firing, and speed turns that into altitude. Reach a new high point and your score goes up, which unlocks the next level and the next planet to aim for.
Launching and controlling the rocket
The whole game is one button. Hold to accelerate, let go to coast. Timing the burn is the skill.

Power, fuel and speed
These three values decide how a run goes. You want enough power to leave the ground, enough fuel to keep climbing, and enough speed to convert that climb into real height. Spend too much early and you stall; hold back too much and you never build momentum.

Climbing through planets and levels
Score is tied to altitude, so a higher flight is a higher score. Each new height you reach opens fresh levels and new planets to fly toward. There is no finish line in the usual sense; the loop is beat your last height, unlock the next stage, repeat. Treat your previous best as the target to clear.

Tips for a higher launch
- Get off the ground first. If power is short you waste the run before it starts, so secure liftoff before chasing speed.
- Do not hold the burn flat out. Short, well-timed bursts often stretch fuel further than one long press.
- Watch the fuel, not just the height. Plan to ease off before it empties so you keep some control near the top.
- Learn each planet. New levels change what you are flying past, so a run that worked low down may need a different burn higher up.
- Use your last height as the line to beat. Small, steady gains add up faster than going all-in every launch.
Why one button works here
There is almost nothing to learn and a lot to get good at. The single hold-to-burn control means anyone can launch on the first try, but squeezing real altitude out of a fixed amount of fuel takes timing you only pick up by failing a few times.
