What is Rocket Bot Royale?
Rocket Bot Royale is a multiplayer .io tank game in the battle royale genre, made by Winterpixel Games and released in March 2022. The twist is gravity: rocks scattered around the arena each have their own gravitational pull, so your tank can cling to the underside of a floating island as easily as the top. You use your cannon to propel yourself through the air, aim at enemies, and collect the coins and gems they drop when destroyed. Rising water trims the playable zone until one tank remains.

The controls are minimal, which makes the skill ceiling about aiming and momentum rather than key combos.

Perks, loot, and leveling up
Before each match you can spend gold on pre-game perks. New perk slots open as you level up by completing goals. Gems let you speed that process along.

Surviving the rising water
The water level climbs steadily throughout every match, which is the core pressure mechanic. Tanks at the bottom of the island get eliminated first, so staying high and mobile is a basic survival skill. Destroying other tanks generates loot that floats briefly before sinking, so you have to time your collection runs. The gravity rocks give you options for repositioning that a flat arena would not: you can retreat to the underside of a platform and fight from below.
Tips for lasting longer each match
- Use your cannon shots to reposition, not just to attack. A well-aimed shot can launch you to a safer rock.
- Collect loot quickly after a kill. It sinks fast.
- Spend gold on perks before joining a game. Even a shield or rapid-fire perk at level 1 makes early fights easier.
- Complete goals deliberately. Leveling up unlocks better pre-game options, which compounds over time.
- Fight near the top of gravity rocks. You have escape routes in every direction.
